The bed test of Stiftung Warentest in August 2014 confirms the product „FENNOBED Domus Continental“ alone as the best bed in the essential test category of health and environment.

FENNOBED GmbH is one of the oldest and leading suppliers of box spring beds in Germany and Europe. Stiftung Warentest selected and tested a FENNOBED Domus Continental for its current mattress test in August 2014. FENNOBED GmbH is pleased that Stiftung Warentest has already recognized and confirmed the company’s position as a central supplier by selecting one of its beds. Fortunately, the test successfully confirmed the core competencies of FENNOBED GmbH. Thus, the bed received a positive to very positive rating in the relevant categories of health and environment, durability, sleeping climate and lying properties. In the health and environment category, the FENNOBED Domus Continental alone took first place. This confirms the core values of the FENNOBED product philosophy and is reason for great joy.

Optimization potentials not considered so far

The test revealed optimization potential in secondary areas. In the test categories cover, handling as well as declaration and advertisement the bed received no maximum evaluations. FENNOBED GmbH welcomes the new findings from the external assessment by Stiftung Warentest. These will be immediately taken into account in production. Since FENNOBED GmbH is a specialized, owner-managed family business with its own production in the EU, the production processes and product features can be adjusted immediately. „Our goal is clear and realistic: Next time, we want to be the test winner,“ says Andreas Lehnhoff, Managing Director of FENNOBED GmbH.
