The Gusswerk in Salzburg has long been known beyond Austria’s borders as a hotspot for creative and trend-conscious entrepreneurs from a wide range of industries: In addition to offices, studios and showrooms as well as spectacular event spaces and a gourmet restaurant of international standing, it is also home to the HotelDesign Werkstatt. Surrounded by the brittle charm of industrial design, the HotelDesign Werkstatt offers a unique mix of showroom and hotel experience. In the halls of the former foundry, a group of selected companies from industry, architecture, trade and crafts present a show hotel and interior design concepts ranging from installations and electrical engineering to furniture and decoration. We have equipped a total of four hotel rooms to show at least part of the variety of possibilities of our in-house manufacture.
